LOST FOR WORDS......................................

Flipping through the back pages of the newspaper on 16 April, came across this obituary and I'm truly lost for words....................................................."Age: 6 weeks".

The truth really hits home...................life is that FRAGILE.

Whatever stage of life you are in now, whatever situation you may be in, good or bad, think about it for a moment. You at least have much more time and chances in this world than this little baby boy!

BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE! 知足常乐。

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I remember back in the 90's during a trip to Almaty & Bishkek, I met an Afghani who had tragically lost his elder son (17 or 18 years old) a year earlier. It must be very painful losing someone so dear, the mention of it brought unstoppable tears to his eyes. At that point in time I was also lost for words, unsure of how to console him............eventually I use these words:

" ................he went home to be with GOD!"

In truth no words will ever be enough, the loss was too much to bear and I am sure that even 'till today he will still be thinking of him.

For the families of the baby boy in the obituary, they will forever remember him in their hearts even though he was in their lives for a mere 6 weeks!
Perhaps the best way to remember him would be that

................he went home to be with GOD!

God Bless!
